About Me:

Nonprofits and community organizations often have strong ideas but limited time and capacity to navigate funding. I support that process through grant writing and funding research, helping turn complex work into clear, compelling proposals.

I am a recent graduate with a Master of Environment and Sustainability from the University of Toronto, where my research focused on conservation governance and community well-being in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. With this degree, I bring interdisciplinary expertise in environmental law, community-centered development, sustainable energy transitions, and Indigenous relations.

I now bring this experience into grant writing, helping organizations communicate their impact and secure funding through clear, competitive proposals and strong funding strategies.

The Process

  • Discovery Call

    We start with a free consultation to discuss your organization, funding needs, and project goals. I’ll ask questions to understand your priorities and determine how I can best support you.

  • Research & Strategy

    I identify and assess relevant funding opportunities based on alignment with your organization and project, then work with you to build a clear, strategic funding plan. This includes mapping which grants to pursue and when, while taking a holistic view of your program to position it for long-term support.

    By demonstrating how multiple funders can contribute to your work, we strengthen your overall case and increase competitiveness.

  • Informational Meetings

    Once one or more grants are jointly selected, I’ll coordinate a kickoff meeting with key team members to gather all necessary information, including program details, budgets, timelines, and supporting materials needed for the proposal.

  • Proposal Development

    I craft grant proposals that go beyond the basics—telling a clear, compelling story about your organization, your project, and the people it will impact. From drafting and editing to budget alignment and revisions, I incorporate your feedback throughout to ensure the final proposal feels authentic and persuasive.

  • Review & Submission

    Each application benefits from a behind-the-scenes review by a team of senior grant writing and funding professionals with decades of experience.

    We then refine and finalize the proposal to ensure full alignment with funder requirements and strengthen its overall competitiveness. I can assist with submission or provide step-by-step guidance so you feel confident managing it independently.
